The Staged Moon Landing

In July of 1969, Apollo 11 took place, and supposedly landed two men on the moon. Not many people believed this was staged when it first happened, but now, that number has decreased. Conspiracy theorists are now speculating if the moon landing was staged.

The Evidence

  • It was faked to beat Russia in the space race at the time.
  • There are odd reflections in the helmets of Buzz Aldrin, and Neil Armstrong, that could be stage lights.
  • As the American flag unravels, it is seen flowing, as if there were wind.
  • The rocks have letters on them, as if they were props.
  • The radiation would have killed them in the two hours they spent on the moon.
  • There are no stars in the sky.

I personally think this evidence is well backed up and is convincing in a way. I don't want to believe this theory, but I find it quite convincing, and seemingly believable.

The Tide Pods Challenge Theory

The Tide Pods challenge was a challenge that started in January of 2018. The challenge was to eat a Tide Pod. It's as simple and stupid as that. People realized that this wasn't a good idea real fast. Consuming Tide Pods is dangerous and can kill people. The Theory is saying that the Tide Pods challenge was created by the government as an extreme form of population control.

The Evidence

  • Overpopulation is a problem facing the world today.
  • TIde Pods are poisonous, and can kill people easily.
  • Tide Pods were turned into a challenge/meme to appeal to teenagers.
  • Excessive attention was brought to the Tide Pods challenge, that the government could have easily done.

My opinion on this theory is mixed, because the evidence is somewhat convincing, but somehow seems not too far fetched. I don't really believe this theory, but I also would not be surprised if it was true.

The 9-11 CGI Planes Theory

On September 11th, 2001, The World Trade Center was attacked by the Islamic terrorist group, al-qaeda. This national tragedy has been surrounded with controversy since it went down. People were speculating whether the twin towers had bombs placed in them or not. Many people today believe that Bush, our president at the time, did 9-11. A more far fetched version of the bomb theory is that there were never any planes, and they were all animated in the news channels.

The Evidence

  •  All the news channels cut out right as the plane hits the tower.
  • Most of the videos from 9-11 have people saying there's a bomb in the building.
  • It is physically impossible for a plane to go through steel remaining mostly intact.
  • There was no exit hole where the plane supposedly flew through the building.
  • The wings on the plane disappeared like a special effect.
  • Pieces of the plane would have broken off as the plane hit the building.

I believe that this theory is highly unbelievable. I don't believe that the planes were CGI, but the bomb part of the theory seems somewhat believable, and mostly believed by most conspiracy theorists nowadays.

23andMe Theory

23andme is a company that can show people their ancestral DNA by spitting in a tube, and sending it off for testing. It seems like a fun way to find out your ancestry, but conspiracy theorists are thinking  otherwise. A popular speculation about the 23andme kit is that the company is trying to collect DNA of everybody for reasons such as age reversal, and personal information,

The Evidence

  • The kit gathers people's personal information along with their DNA.
  • They could use frozen DNA samples for age reversal in the future.
  • They could send people their DNA samples for age reversal for a heavy price to make more money.

I find this theory to be real complicated and brilliant. It really is a unique concept if it is true or not. It seems a little far-fetched, but something about it all fits together.

The Mattress Firm Theory

Mattress Firm is a mattress company that sells mattresses. There is not much else to say about the place. There are an odd amount of Mattress Firm stores around certain areas. Sometimes they're on the same street, and even in the same strip mall. The theory is that Mattress Firm is actually a money laundering scheme.

The Evidence

  • There are an unusual amount of Mattress Firm stores in the same cities
  • There are never any customers in the stores
  • Mattresses are only bought every couple of years
  • One of the most popular places to hide money is the mattress

This theory seems highly realistic to me because I can't think of another reason why mattress firms are sometimes right across the street from one another. I still don't really believe the theory, just because of logical reasons, but it isn't far-fetched and seems believable.

Predictive Programing Theory

Predictive programing is a way to make the public okay with future changes. It is represented in media, movies, and T.V. Shows. For example, there are multiple theories that predict a future where humans have microchips implanted under the skin. This is represented in cartoons often where there are people who are chipped. Even 9-11 was "announced" using predictive programming.

The Evidence

  • 9-11 was predicted in cartoons, movies, and artwork.
  • The public has been acquainted with new technology, like the smart watch.
  • Going to war with al-qaeda was expected and accepted
  • Microchipping has been in films before, and has been predicted for the future.

The Authorities have been doing predictive programming for a long time, and it seems to be effective to help keep life in order. We expect certain things to go down like the illuminati taking over eventually. It has been discussed so often, that it doesn't even seem like a theory anymore. We are all waiting for it to happen.

The Chuck E Cheese Theory

Chuck E Cheese is a family restaurant, with the target demographic being kids. The place is already disgusting, with a bunch of kids running around, but the theory makes it even worse. Chuck E Cheese might be taking their customer's unfinished pizza slices, and making them into a new pizza, to avoid waste.

The Evidence

  • Pictures of the pizzas are uneven, and not circular.
  • Certain pieces protrude out, making some slices bigger than the others.
  • The pepperonis don't line up.
  • People who used to work there have said before that they don't throw away the uneaten pieces.

I believe this theory, because the evidence is well backed up, and there can't be another explanation for the pizzas being as uneven as they are. I do like one part of this theory. Even though it's disgusting, it really shows people not to waste their food.

The Britney Spears Voice Theory

Britney Spears is a famous singer, and I'm sure if you mention her name, anybody would know her. She has been surrounded with many controversies since she became famous. Many people suspect she is a slave to her record label, and in a way, it seems believable. Some people believe that she is forced to sing higher than her natural voice allows.

The Evidence

  • She rarely performs live
  • Her managers speed up videos of her singing so her voice sounds higher
  • Videos of her singing as a child are deeper than her current "baby voice"
  • Her higher singing voice is what she's always had, which made her famous

I believe this theory 100% because it is more realistic than most other conspiracy theories. If this is what has always worked for record labels, then why wouldn't they keep her singing higher?

The Mandela Effect Theory

The Mandela effect is a phenomenon that many people have experienced where they remember something a certain way, but turns out, it was never how they remember it. Famous examples include the Berenstain Bears. Everyone remembered "Berenstein" with an E, but it's always been Berenstain. Some people speculate that it has something to do with time travelers changing a small thing from the past, causing the butterfly effect.

The Evidence

  • 51 or 52 states?
  • Life is like a box of chocolates or life was like a box of chocolates?
  • Jif or Jiffy peanut butter?
  • Did Mandela die in prison or later?
  • Looney Tunes or Looney Toons?

Everyone remembers that Nelson Mandela died in prison. People remember writing about it in 1983. Some people believe that he was replaced by a clone, but that doesn't explain the other instances of people remembering a specific event or name, and then finding out they were wrong. This theory really trips me up because I don't find time travelers convincing, but also how could so many people be wrong about something?

Laser Weapons Theory

Laser weapons are not just an idea anymore. Countries are actually attempting to use lasers for war purposes. One of those countries could be our own, America. We all know our president, and how he's all about winning and war. He could be using lasers to destroy parts of our own country that he doesn't like, explaining the LA forest fires.

The Evidence

  • LA forest fires leave no parts of houses behind.
  • Metal and glass parts of the house, and cars were all melted.
  • Trees were left untouched, meaning the lasers were aiming for the houses
  • Celebrities of LA ridicule Trump constantly, so why wouldn't he test out the lasers on people he doesn't like?

I think this theory is stupid, and way too far-fetched. I don't believe it, but the evidence is there, and while I won't say it's convincing, it is well backed up to the point where I'll consider it.

Smartphones Theory

We all know our smartphones are slowly ruining our lives, and future generation's lives. They are always on you, and they are always around you. That's the whole point of smartphones, so they can listen in on everything going on in your life. Your phone wants you to have a personal experience, but it gets too personal at times. Examples are personalized ads and recommendations.

The Evidence

  •  Personalized ads about conversations you've had recently
  • Location based ads show up on apps
  • Your phone can track your personal messages, and show ads relating to them

I have been personally afflicted by this theory, and most of my friends have too. We find ourselves talking about a video game that came out in 2011, and a day later, I get an ad on in. We're talking about if we want Deek's pizza or not, and an hour later, we all get an ad for Deek's pizza. I hate how this works these small devices are invading our lives, and ruining them one by one.

The High Pitched Music Theory

Modern music really has been interesting lately, especially pop music. Most songs sound similar, and have an alike riff, or alike effects. One in particular has a certain high pitched noise that has been found in popular songs like The Middle by Zed and that one Justin Bieber song I don't know the name of. The theory states that record labels are adding the high pitched noise to convince your brain to download the song.

The Evidence

  • Younger ears hear higher frequencies.
  • Many popular songs have the high pitched noise.
  • More children download the songs because they can hear better.

This theory isn't as far fetched as the other theories featured on this blog. I can get behind the evidence this theory provides. I would not be surprised if this theory was true at all.

The Celebrity Mind Control Theory

Celebrities have difficult lives and are often seen being short with people, frustrated, upset, and stressed. I don't blame them since they are constantly getting attention, and don't get a whole lot of time to themselves. The theory states that celebrities are under mind control to keep them doing the same thing to keep their record labels in business.

The Evidence

  • Celebrities always have someone with them to keep them hypnotised
  • They sometimes pass out from being overworked, and when they snap out of it
  • They occasionally stop talking, and stare off into space, maybe because they broke their trance

I don't think this exact theory is true, but there is really something going on with celebrities considering everything that is physically wrong with them after being overworked to film movies or make music/music videos.
